A lot of people love horse racing and making bets on the horses. They love the races because it is fun and there is the chance that they can make some extra cash following a sport they love.
Only problem is that to make consistent money betting on the horses involves actually being prepared to learn and study the science of horse betting. And most people neither have the time or the inclination to do that.
Therefore these people turn to horse racing tipsters to help them out. I think this is a great idea as horse racing tipsters really can add value to a punter, provided they meet these following criteria:
1. Make sure they have been involved in some way with the racing industry. Perhaps they worked in the stables or maybe as a bookie. This means they should know their stuff.
2. The tipster should be giving out a variety of tips. Simply repeating the Racing Post favourite is not particularly helpful! Make sure they have at least four different types of bets over a selection of races throughout the day.
3. The tips should be accompanied with a commentary on why those horses have been chosen. That way you can learn more about horse racing and improve your own horse selections in the future which is key.
4. The tips should be free. Anybody who is charging for tips should perhaps be treated with caution. That way if you don't like the tips you can easily cancel and it won't cost you anything or be a hassle.
