"Institutional Shareholder Services, the influential investment advisory service, is reportedly backing billionaire investor Ron Burkle for the Barnes & Noble (BKS) board, Reuters reported. The recommendation is seen as a blow to the bookstore chain, which is in the middle of a proxy war with Burkle, the report said.
