Natural foods - Avoid eating processed foods and stick with 100% all natural foods.
Eat several times daily - Instead of eating the usual 3 meals daily, eat 4-5 small meals each day. This will improve your digestive system... which will then cause a significant boost to your metabolism.
Drink a lot of water - To truly lose love handles fast, you must make sure you get plenty of water every day. The reason being is that you are going to need to release water weight from your body, cleanse your body from harmful toxins, improve fat metabolization, and ensure proper development of your muscle tissues... and ALL of that is possible with just good ol' water.
Get plenty of sleep every night - Get 7-8 hours of rest every night to allow your body to properly burn away fat while you sleep. The less sleep you get... the slower fat will burn off!
High intensity cardio - Instead of slow and long boring cardio, increase the intensity. I recommend sprinting or the incline treadmill.
Resistance training - The more muscle tissue you build (you don't have to get big and bulky)... the faster and more consistent you'll burn away fat.

To prevent it from decreasing, avoid fad dieting, diet pills, and starvation. If you get caught up in those things and you end up slowing down your metabolism, your body will begin to STORE fat instead of burning it off!
