Now, first things first. You must understand that you can not spot target fat loss. When you lose fat, you lose TOTAL BODY FAT. Last time I checked....that's not actually a bad thing!
So, if you want to have abdominal fat loss and get a sexy flat tummy or six pack abs, you have to focus on total body fat. Also, please do not think that you'll get abdominal fat loss by doing ab exercises. Ab exercises tone the muscles UNDER your abdominal fat. In order to have those muscles revealed you have to lose the fat on top of them.
So, with that said, what is the fastest way to abdominal fat loss?
1. Proper nutrition - Proper nutrition consists of eating the correct foods every day (protein, complex carbs, fiber, healthy fats, and foods rich in vitamins), eating the correct amount of calories your body needs based off of your current weight (eating less than what your body needs will slow down your metabolism), and eating 6 small healthy meals daily instead of the usual 3 (this will help boost your metabolism, maintain hunger, and keep your blood sugar level stable).
2. High intensity exercise - Doing a few exercises and then going for a walk around the corner is NOT going to give you fat loss....especially abdominal fat loss (the most difficult area on your body to lose fat from). If you want lose fat, you are going to have to get intense with your workout to see results. High intensity exercising will boost your metabolism, and will burn off calories well after your workout is finished....especially when you incorporate weight training in the mix!
