I met Ron first time a couple of years ago and we became friends immediately. He is a guy with a great sense of humor and knows how to keep strong and joyful against any odds. I met him again last Saturday; I was just starting a long walk on the Capital Crescent Trail; he was in front of the Barnes & Noble bookstore in Bethesda. Kids were running enthusiastically around, as always, and he was playing his guitar, happy for the folks there, happy for the wonderful sound of his voice.
